In conjunction with World Water Day 2018, our Lambir Water Treatment Plant in Miri was opened to the public on Saturday, 7 April 2018, 9 am to 4 pm. The theme for this year was “Nature for Water”.
We had about 200 visitors including kindergarten children and the Boys Brigade. The public was given an educational tour around the Plant, learning how water is processed and treated. The public also learnt how precious water is and ways of conserving water in their homes and surroundings.
