Introduction of LAKU Management Sdn Bhd

LAKU Management Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned company of the State Government of Sarawak was incorporated on 7 June 1995. The company entered into a twenty-five year concession agreement with the State Government for the production, distribution of potable water and collection of water revenue in the 3 Northern urban townships of Miri, Bintulu and Limbang in Sarawak. It commenced operation on 1 January 1996, taking over the above responsibilities from Jabatan Kerja Raya.

LAKU with a staff strength of about 350 has its Corporate office in Miri and an Area Office each in Miri, Bintulu and Limbang.
